Hi there guys

One of my sites is really high up on in serps on google.co.uk, but appears really low on google.com for the same keywords, how come there is such a big difference between these indexs ?

They're two separate engines with different measurement criteria. It would be the same if you checked Google Ireland - Australia - Singapore etc.. Each location wants results relevant to their geographic locations. Your keyword competition in each place is different.

You'll even find difference in the results in different states in the U.S. You can even find different results between times you access Google at the same location.

I have a same issue here, when I search my site from google.com.(country) domain I get 1st result and when I search from google.com I get 9th result in same key word.
My domain name have .com.np at the last and I think google identify my site as non international so I get high result only from google.com.np not google.com What do you guys think…will my domain name effect my position in search engine?

You're likely getting a little bonus when searching in your country. So yes it's affecting you, but in a good way. You can still get the page to rank well in google.com.

i am thinking about taking a new domain name in .com for the same website but i afraid of duplicate content to submit it on search engines. My hosting have the benefits to point the multi domain name in the same location without redirect. Can I point two domain names for the same website? (One is .com.np and another is .com)

You can redirect one domain to another site. I think I currently have 3 or maybe 4 domains pointing at my site at the moment. But don't think of them as being for the benefit of search engines. Think of it more for real people.

For example a site like del.icio.us might also want to own the domain name delicious.com and point it to the other. They would use the second since some people might type it that way.

You don't want to have the same content showing on two different URLs. So if and when you set up the second domain you want to make sure the redirect is a 301 or permanent redirect.
