The best designer? Anthony certainly. I've hired him numerous times, for both forum skins and website designs and he has always surpassed my expectations each and every time. I am yet to meet anybody as impressive in the design field, that's why all my projects go his way

forumskin.com it is. vbulletinskinz never responded to my request. Talked to forumskin for about a week about the design and they will begin work on the 15th of this month.

Designing is what your focus should be on. Anyone with basic HTML tables and CSS knowledge who is familiar with the vB templates can code your skin. As long as it looks like the pre-planned design that's all that matters right?

I have seen a lot of Anthony's work and I agree that he is definitely one you should talk to!

That also requires having to deal with two people or companies, something I didn't really feel like going through. It is much more convenient for me to go through one person.

This is the first time I have paid someone to design a forum skin other than a cheap one a couple years ago. I have always just changed the colors and rolled with the default look. To be honest, I was shocked that it was a common practice to have one person design, then find another to code it. I had assumed that one person always did it all.

Mike, Anthony offers design and coding through vbFresco, you only have to deal with him. He has a list of VB skinners to contact which he does for you.

Chances are most places have different people for coding and designing, if they're a good design it's more logical to spend more time designing.
