I used to have a forum at http://www.hyperbaseball.com, but the forums (and site) died when I went off to college.

Sold it. It used to be really active, but now it's dead.

hmmm... I think it would be interesting to buy dead forums with a fair amount of content cheaply... pump it full of cheap traffic and see if you can revitalize it and resell it for a profit in a short time... sorta like house flipping....

itd have to be more than traffic... maybe a bunch of traffic and a halfway decent paid posting company... maybe it'd be even better to go in with a partner or two so you can do some posting... eh... maybe im insane... but ill try it

Ugh. I'm not going to name any, but there is an entire graveyard of my failed communities. I'm a bit more sucessful these days, but man when I first started out, my communities were a waste of paid bandwidth.
