Would it be a good idea to create an IRC Chat on my forums? I mean it would kind of defeat the purpose of a forum, but it would bring the user's closer together!

I don't think so. It also depends on your user base. Not a lot of people use IRC or even know what it means. I'd rather focus on getting traffic in the forums.

Yeah I thought so, I'm going to take down the IRC Chat. It's a useless waste of money and barely anyone comes on anymore

I bought my own IRC Server, I don't like sharing And it would be better to have posts on the forum than chats which are never recorded...
