If it's the first post to the forum, it should probably be a nice welcome announcement. You'll probably want to introduce yourself and describe the site/forums and why they were created. Just a suggestion :1eye:

Yes, exactly what Jason said. The very first post in the forum that replaces the default one. I dont think I should let a user be the first...just feels weird I guess.:taz:

Hello jakerz,

I agree with the idea that you should introduce yourself with your first post; tell us what you're about, about your site, what forums you visit, what your interests are offline, etc. Basically, just let us know who you are so we know who we're "talking" to (after all, it's sort of hard to imagine what person we are speaking to by just looking at our monitors! :-)
