Unless you're selling tampons, gas or beer, it's a good idea to look for specific "niches" in internet marketing. You know, not everybody needs an epibrator or a chanfallagog, so it does't make sense to advertise them to the whole world, but if you have too many in stock and really want to get rid of them, go search for the appropriate "niche markets". At least some people are in dire need of a fresh chanfallagog (you know how quickly the bloody things go stale!), while others yearn for a second epibrator on account of the old one sadly having lost its original floga.
There is a market for everything - you just have to find it and combine it with your product! Without knowing whom you're gonna sell something to, you won't sell it at all. It really is that simple. But this goes further than picking out the niche group for uncommon products: also when selling the more mass-oriented stuff it makes sense to concentrate your marketing efforts on various subgroups or niches.
"Internet Home Business" is such a product. When asking yourself whom to sell your business package or utility to, try to think outside the box. Like: what groups are more prone to sit down and work from home than others? Well now, "work at home moms 'n dads" are pretty obvious, but also church choirs, fishing clubs and billiard teams might be targeted: let them become your downline in any network marketing and help them to help each other! That's the creation of teams, and it's a mighty good sales argument. In fact each team eventually becomes a true community if... you work at it!
And don't forget those who sit at home because of sickness or handicaps: selling e-Books or other intangibles via the web is one of relatively few jobs one can easily do from a wheelchair! That's what I mean by "niche marketing", and especially with my GDI domains and websites I'm doing pretty well in several niches. One of these days I'll lead you to some of my specific niche pages for this product, in the "Show it off and advertise" sections of the Earners Forum.
