I could see it going for anywhere between $5,000 and $10,000.

Based on what I've been reading elsewhere the last couple days, it would be well over $16 million. :-D

(Sorry, silly joke... :whistling: :clown: )

Around 6-10K. It COULD go downwards due to it being Eminem, unless my boy releases his final album

Just curious, where are you guys getting your $5 - 10K figures from?

Is there some kind of rule of thumb for websites based on traffic? Or are you using the AdSense revenue as a guide?

I agree with the 5K - 10K valuation. This would be mainly based on existing revenue figures but a large number of other factors are also involved. e.g. potential of the sites, stability of traffic and earnings, room for improvement, pagerank and age of domain etc.

In general sites, usually sell for 6 - 18 months revenue (median = 10 months). However, large established forums tend to go for more (at 18-30 months) because they are less dependent on search engine traffic. The bottom line is that you could be reasonably sure that the site will still be around and earning money 3-5 years from now.

i'd want to see the google stats because google doesnt love hiphop, ( i own www.RapMusic.com ) you can make more money with Gorilla Nation if you get the page views.

if its really that - maybe 3k-5k

Thanks, guys.

I'm pretty sure the popularity will increase once it's getting closer to the release of Eminem's last album. But before that, we've also got releases from the other Shady Records artists (D12, 50 Cent, Stat Quo, etc.).
