Do you use them? How do you use them? Do you set different point levels for posts and threads in different forums?

I'm currently using them and noticing that it's increasing activity and the members enjoy it. I might put up a prize for someone to win with points.

I think it is nice on forums. Nice to be able to reward people with helpful posts with some points to do what ever with. It also encourages quality posts and proper sentences and such if you give points by character or word in the post.

That's true John, I've never thought about rewarding on how many characters on a post. Hmmmm.

Do you mean Rep points giving by other users or points earned for just posting?

I use a "gold system" on my site. Users can buy clothing and items for their avatar with it. It works brilliantly.

i use them, set up a shop where people can buy items like new usertitle or new membergroup, etc.

vbux is the best to use but i think its out of date right now. all of my members are asking for it back and im waiting to get it on there. so yea it is a great idea.

iCash and iShop are the only things going right now through vb.org as far as I know...
