That's a great list, thanks for sharing! Can I ask how many members your two top forums have and how much unique traffic they get daily?

One of the best anti spam tools for a forum right now is definitely the one referred to in that article where you have to answer a question in order to register.

I use that on my vbulletin forums, and it is easily integrated with another mod that I am using, the quick register hack.

Outside of anti-spam mods, it really comes down to what your forum "needs". I highly recommend keeping the mods down to a minimum. Install only what you need, or what will truly be valuable to your forum. Also, make sure it is coded well and secure. the more mods you add to your forum, the more you open yourself up to being hacked.

Agreed. Less mods the better. I also find these days that the mods I use are more often custom made for my forum. You can see plenty here for example that you can't find any where else. Nice list!

Nice list! Most of those are mods I use on my forum. I also always only add the ones that I actually think I need.
