Im curious about the experiences with Yuwie (link in my signature) on this forum.

Im currently testing it out, and I must say I currently like it for it's SEO and promotional potential. But Im not so sure I expect a lot of $$ to come in ...

Are people making good money with it already? What are your experiences?
How do you use it?

So far..I just signed up and I wasn't able to use it more. But it's more on blogging and earning $.

The difference is that they pay a part of the revenue to their users, based on the amount of pageviews you and your referrals generate.

The income potential isn't massive, but the other advantage is that the users are more active on average than on other networks; This means it can also drive more traffic to your other blogs/websites/projects..

It's still in Beta so depending on how much people get involved it could be good but I think it's too early to say. In any case you don't have anything to lose by joining up and using it since it's free. Since it's based on advertising revenue share and looking at the ads they have at the moment, I don't think there it will be a decent earner unless it grows and you can get some referrals.

I agree that you'll need some referrals to get a few $ coming, but that's also the potential; how many people do you know that are active on social network sites? probably a lot!

And besides that, Yuwie can be used to promote your own sites, blogpostings, movie clips whatever and it's good for that because of the members being very active (to generate pageviews

)

I'm a Yuwie member and LOVING it! I've been a member for 2-1/2 months and didn't make any money to speak of but it's growing quicker than I expected. I do know one that made $25 already and another that earned $116. When I get there, that's my advertising budget increasing!

I really like the friendliness there and unlike many other "money oriented" social networking sites I've tried, you aren't bombarded by with business opportunities everytime you turn around.

Nearly every Yuwie member is involved in making money -- my target audience -- but hardly anyone openly promotes anything. If you use any of the social networking sites, you have nothing to loose by using Yuwie. If you get paid suddenly because you referred a few active users, don't be offended. And if you don't want the money, you can always give it to me!:innocent:

I love the fact that this social networking site does PAY its users, unlike Myspace and Facebook. Yuwie has grown to over 200,000 users in a very short time, so expect it to keep soaring. I'll be honest, I got in late on the Myspace site, after it had literally millions and millions of users. But I'm in pretty early with Yuwie. I'm excited, I made a whopping 6 cents last month. Hey, its a start, ya know.

i think once facebook and myspace dominated this market...there is going to be more competition and people are going to find it harder to use these.

I've been on yuwie for 2 months now and I'm seeing a lot of potential. I have a link in my signature just follow this to come on board my team and I'll show you how to generate a lot of potential with yuwie.
Just to put in in perspective at my current rate of progress within the next 4 months I'll be makeing just under 15,000 dollars a month, and I'm having lots of fun with yuwie. the best thing is the people - everyone is friendly and you don't have a bunch of users shoving their businesses down your throat either. it's a really great opportunity so I implore you to join. if you're already a member but having trouble getting started I'd love to help you out - only ting is you've gotta be in my downline, so come on board:thumbup:
