With my new forum (BattleForums.com), I have no idea where to start. I would like to start earning a good revenue from my forum, and am wondering what ad networks I should use, and what kind of advertisements I should place on the forum. The forum has not seen ads in a very long time, so this would be a good time to introduce it... slowly. If you have any comments or suggestions, please let me know .

Have you looked into Kontera? It's pretty good. Vibrant Media is also another good one.

What about google adsense?

I have kontera on the forums, and it's doing alright. Looks like they don't log all my impressions though :S.

google adsense is good and PPC adwords...but still pricey ...but if you have some disposable income trying those should help.

also try a press release. But before you do this...get a professional to write it and only do a press release about something that needs mentioning or somethning controversial.

I did this and got 50,000 hits per day for two days....then obvisously it slowed down. but you will get backlinks everywhere if you have a nice SEO articles as your press release.
