I'm gonna have to second this post. Are there other classifieds sites besides Craigslist? I also know of backpage and Kijiji.

There are so many classifieds sites it's not funny. They can work, though.

One tip I would give is that you should post to the ones that repeatedly appear highest in the search engine rankings, because these are the ones getting indexed. (Obvious really.)

Post your ads to a few of those. Then a couple of weeks later do a search for some of the terms in your ads. You should see some of them come up. This would suggest that those sites are the best to post to next time.

I think this should help improve the response rate a little.

This free classifieds directory site does not work at all. Crashing the browser. Gumtree (Flats to rent London, jobs in London, flatshare, free classified ads UK) have sections to all UK, some US, New Zealand, South Africa, Australia cities, pluss Singapore and Hong Kong.
