Just launched my new forum http://www.workoutrunbox.com/forum ( i wish i could take credit for the design...i just downloaded it and edited the stylesheets)...Just wanted some advice on how to really get it rolling. I will probably promote with adwords, but i know i can't really do that until i get people posting....Help! How do i get people to start posting???

You gotta get your site out there, just like ur doing now lol, adwords can be a good way, but u might find it expensive !

Nice forum...promoting a forum is hard. I'm still trying to promote mine. Try adwords, blogs, social bookmarks, word of mouth, and good old press releases...all the best

Wow that really looks clean. Love the blue color scheme and the total layout of the forum. Its cut and looks organized. Love it. One of the best looking forum I've seen in a while and I've seen hundreds.

It might just be me (my eyes are weird with colours) but I find it somehow a little bit hard to read. I find the blue a bit dark on the black, which doesn't make it stands out enough.
However, it looks good and easy to use. It does fit on my screen

1. Find where your demographic audience would be located whether it be forums, blogs, parties, etc...
2. Become part of that community by being authentic and engaging.
3. Once you're trusted in that community, the members are more willing to help you. In this case, to sign up for your site and giving you feed back. =)

Nice forum with unique subject! theme is also nice.. ask for anice designer for ur forum logo if u got a nice logo then i think ur site look more proffessional..

forgot one thing. the only thing I would do is make your design fluid. To me, narrow forums don't look great.

Promote it to other SEO forums like this; there might be some SEO Analysts working on websites related to your forums topics. Just make sure you will not look spammer as you post on an SEO forums.
