I recently transferred my domain from Freewebs to Hostmonster and I wanted to go ahead and set up a new forum for my members to use while I construct the rest of the new site.

I followed a tutorial and uploaded the forum files to the main ftp account, but I can't figure out how to install it. I still have an IP-address-like URL that they gave me, should I have waited?

I'm very confused and would greatly appreciate some help.

look for installer.php and run it through the browser
make sure you have a database set up for it
