Good stuff. Herd mentality is hardly something particular to social networking online, though. It's easy to see everywhere. Some people are leaders. Most are followers.

I'm not the biggest supporter of Doug. I think he has his issues, but I'll give him credit for being one that always speaks his mind and doesn't just blindly follow the masses.

Saw the same article over at IHY.

The only thing I disagreed with her on was the "follow people like Doug" part, it's like saying follow one group over another, and I believe that webmasters should come to their own conclusions on how they perceive things such as Social Media sas.
