I've been getting 2-3 registered users per day on my forums lately. The problem is, no one makes posts. A year ago, I thought I'd be creative buy posting a traffic ticket fixer, it's a joke, tells you how to repair a damaged traffic ticket, like taping it if it's ripped, or ironing it if it's wrinkled, etc. I came up with this joke when I had Police Officer Home pages on my personal web page, years ago.
Anyways, on my web page, it directs visitors looking to fix their traffic tickets to register in the forums before they can view the trafic ticket fixer post. They are registering, reading the post, then never come again or even make an angry post.
How can I get ligitimate forum interested peeps to my forums? Now that I have all this traffic, I really don't know what to do with it.

Forums are tough. Controversy, touchy subjects are what get forums going. Getting going as you can see from so many posts is the tough part. Same advice, get your friends and family to post. Once people see a discussion going they will be more liable to post.

Get people upset by writing a post that is controversial in every sense of the word. Make them want to post, even if its through anger/disbelief. Because, hey, at least they'll be posting...
