In short I am going to pour my a.i. experiments into an online game, and I am going to make it 100% open source, and I think also I am hoping to lure all the evil technological megalomaniacs into one dark and soul-eating online "game" where they end up all repenting and giving their money to the poor and the hungry and the BILLIONS of deprived people on our planet. ALL their money, of course, not some pathetic scabby donation. Everything but a house to live in and their food and basic leisure. Nothing too flash. No mercedes benz.
I don't have time to work on it much at the moment, but it will grow. Once I publish all the source code and other authorial information I'll let you know. I will release my a.i. "secrets" only cautiously, later on, at the appropriate juncture. The system as it stands is 100% devoid of any of that part of the code, so for the first few months everything created will be done 100% open source style.
I think the difference between building my a.i. system in the private sector and building it as open source is the difference between supporting war and supporting peace. I can empower the talented people, or I can build some faction of or neo-proponent of the whole military industrial complex socio-political structure which thrives on untransparent authoritarian capitalism.
In the form of a game it will be much easier for me to pursue this development, because it's way too boring otherwise, plus the growth of my semantic engine can be driven by the game playing of millions of people rather than by my (original plan of) paying 10s of 1000s of graduates to do the donkeywork of translating human literature into a special code I've devised to make it 'comprehensible' to a computer (so that it can answer all the "English comprehension test" questions which you were given in English lessons at school - a 100% English-speaking software process - able to educate billions, make billions jobless, basically do lots of potent things).
Feel free to share cheats and shortcuts with each other if you start to figure the game out.
The domain is just one I have lying around that suits the purpose in terms of where it's been. I'll get a better one later, to be the main domain. Have fun. Happy new year, when it comes. I have some bootstrapping to finish off.
