I have seen lot of websites.. after signup.. which offer automatic twitter posts.. for every few mins.. from the rss feed we submit when signing up.. I tried so many sites.. but they didnt work.. may be we need to pay them for that... bcoz I have seen some twitter accounts posting automatically for every few mins.. doing publicity for their websites..

do u know anything about this..

That's quite possibly due to some people using "automatic twitter posting" to machine gun their spammy junk at twitter users!

I have 2 rss feeds currently setup to auto-post to twitter from a site. It posts only the titles from the feeds that I personally write. I do not post a whole bunch everyday. I don't use twitter that much and I thought if it could post it there to my account for me it would save me a little time. It does work pretty decent, and it was easy to setup. It was twitterfeed I believe. Some members do seem to post every couple of mins on twitter. I just have more important things to do than to hang out at twitter.

I agree with chrishirst. Twitter's a fantastic tool, but like all social media it needs to be a 2-way process in order for anybody to benefit. Spamming people on Twitter is like leaflet-dropping, and it'll never be enough. Start getting involved in conversations and you'll see the results come through.

Using automatic tools to post on twitter is a terrible idea. All you're going to achieve by using such tools to spam people is that you'll be UNfollowed by the few followers you might have. Social media is meant to be personal not machine generated content... it's meant to be a discussion between members of a community. It's no wonder that it gets a bad wrap when people "think" such gimmicks should work, but they don't.

I'm not saying auto post a whole bunch a day. I write 1 or 2 blogs a week, and if I am lucky the same for articles. Sometimes much less though. So for me it saves me time. Many people manually post hundreds of junk all day long at twitter. Some of the kids post to facebook and twitter non stop. I just use it conservatively. Then between the auto-posts sometimes I will manually post more personal. I mostly use it for twitter is all.

one or two a day seems to work fine for me, but if you think twitter is one of the biggest spam sites why are you wanting to do it or find out more ?

I use http://www.socialoomph.com/ to tweet automatically in advance

and also twitterfeed which is free and works fine to post my RSS feed to twitter automatically
