Directly? It can be but some of the people will flag you as a spam or a marketer not a common friend.

Try to pormote your fan page through facebook ads. Let people know about your fan page and brand. This will create a hype and will automatically lead to new increased likes.

It's really difficult to say for certain - I have traffic from my profile on facebook - very little, but regular visitors. However, most of those visitors almost never click ads on my site when they visit, and they tend to only visit when I post a new tutorial or free template. I've never had an issue having visitors from my profile

Yeah totally agree If you want to get traffic from facebook fanpage then you have to update your fanpage regularly and post your URL with your content and interact peoples on facebook so that they can visit your website .

you need a great effort in this regards try to make a community or group and then invite maximum peoples to join and then they like your pages or what you wants that is possible but required efforts or used seo services

Fan page needs to be active not just as a user but also it needs to converse with other people in facebook.

you need to discuss with them and get their interest before you could drive traffics in you fan pge.

We have Facebook fans around 45000 but the Facebook Fan page traffic which turns to sales from those are very low
