If I start tweeting (say 5 to 10 tweets a day) regularly in tweeter, how much traffic it can bring?

If you start tweeting for atleast 2 weeks, it might attract more followers...
by the way, "add an attractive profile image", so that more people will follow you ....also more traffic...

Traffic is depends on many factors like your tweet title and the article which you are twitting.

But nobody can meausre the amount of traffic from the network. You can only predict it in some way.

Use a specific URL for tracking it

and it doesnt matter how many followers you have...its the quality of the followers...

I would rather have 100 followers all of which are within my target demograhics than have a million followers but none of them are inside your target market.

Before you start posting your tweets on Twitter, do a little research about what others are tweeting that are similar to your website. ( they must have many followers )

Now, start tweeting interesting tweets, while using keywords that people search for a Twitter. ( so that they can find your tweets and follow you if they like your tweets )

You can also find popular twitter accounts with a lot of followers ( with websites similar to your website ) , to follow their followers then most of them might follow you back depending if they are interested in your tweets,
