As all of us know, Facebook is the most famous social network. And it seems that number of users of this social network is increasing day by day.
Facebook CEO Mark Zuckerberg said:
It was almost guaranteed that Facebook would hit 1 billion users last month. But with developed countries largely tapped and the social network’s growth slowing in both raw and percentage terms this spring, the company is eyeing emerging markets as a new source of users

I am addicted to facebook, I spent 2 to 3 hours daily on facebook. It gives me those friends which I don't think I will meet in life again.

I wont get into the politics of China, but read some authoritative articles on the country and form your own consensus.
there are, for example, certain kinds of yoga and spiritual practises outlawed by the Chinese gov. They have also EXECUTED people for practising what they wish.

I think it is still time before fb reaches the 1b users mile stone. Until now all I hear is that it's crossed 500 million users and that it's valued at $50b.

Not at all, they can restrict new registrations but will never close the site after such a grand success. Even as I have heard they are planning to launch their own search engine from the facebook account itself. |
