I've just changed my site from a blog into a submission site does anyone have any tips on how to get it started?

Just stick up a copy of pligg, post your url on a few forums, sit back and watch your server collpase under the weight of automated submissions.

I think yoghurt is a bad thing to pour on your screen when doing this job you mention. Try maybe just the oatmeal by itself. Although even that has a lot of disadvantages for laptop or netbook users. I think Linux is best. That way you can just script it yourself. But try and hold back. Too much too soon - is a common story out here.

NB in the USA it's pronounced 'yough-gurt'... this is important.

Article writing and article submission is really one of the best strategies of link building in getting quality links and generating traffic. Ezine article site is one of my favorite.

Digg is a not bad tools,there are many tools like it too.

Yes, Social bookmarking site has good search and traffic so you should have it but do follow.
