So I have accumulated some friends on myspace. Now I would like to post some ads to let them know about my site; however, I am afraid that they report me as spam and would potentially cause me to lose that account and all those friends that I have accumulated.

My question is, how did you guys do it?

You can post comments to and bulletins to any of your friends. Any friends who accept HTML in their comments are ok to post links to.

The best way to market with MySpace is passively in my experience. You just post a link on your profile so people can visit your website.

You can also make blog posts about your website.

You have to have at least 1000 friends to get any kind of results though.

I though myspace was pretty much dead in the water. FB would be a lot more efficient.

Myspace is known to be a older medium to promote website , Facebook is consider to be the latest one which helps in promotion in better manner.

All you need to act is not as an advertiser but a friend who recommend something to his/her friends. That's why we need to build public relation first before advertising.

You might be able to use your family to spread it, especially if you have a big family that likes you.

Most of the people are with the same purpose as you are there, so don't be afraid of being reported as a spam unless you are not posting something vulgar. They won't do anything wrong if they found the information is useful.

definitley go with facebook. if you got liitle cash, you could do the fb pay per click program... I have had good results with that

Just make a fan page. Suggest it to all of your friends. If they like you they will tell other people and you won't have to advertise or pay anyone anything at all.

i am using my space for my site but comparing to other network i am not satisfied with myspace
