Hi all,
Facebook has added a new feature for photo viewing. Have you experienced it or not? Please share your views this...

I somehow don't like it. I hate it when facebook all of a sudden changes things without our knowledge.
At least give the users an option to either opt for the change or revert back to the old experience.

Just to the top of your profile page you can see 5 small thumbnails of the wallpapers which are totally unwanted from my point of view. I would like to search the option for disabling those ones.

I have noticed it and I dislike the feature. As it takes more time for loading the image in the light box (not sure of the script). The images are loaded slower than the traditional method.

I don't like it at all and I have generally liked all of the changes they have made up until now. I agree about having the choice to opt in or opt out.

Facebook has added really nice features. Now we can upload mega pictures and easily store them in our facebook account. The privacy be also nice and its upto us.

I agree with you if any networking site do changes in it atleast once in a while it will inform to the A/c holder's. Ask to the change would you like to change or not it depends on users choice.

I wanna ask one question here, how much important does search engine give to the social networking. I mean the links from twitter or facebook is it important in search engine point of view.

Yes, search engines put stock in social links. Not sure this is where you should ask this question though. Maybe make your own thread in the SEO section or the Social Networking section.

yes, saw that one, I tried to save my photos to my computer but it didn't work... I tried it again without clicking the picture just on the album page and it work maybe that's the new features of it to make your photos privacy safe.

I agree with the majority of the previous replies that the new feature is something i dont like. It takes longer to load and fills the whole screen so you have to click the small exit button to go back and not just click another link

I never really liked using the photo album feature on Facebook to begin with. The new feature only makes it even more cumbersome to use. I'll stick to Flickr and Photobucket for now.

It seems to me with this new feature, we cannot download the photos anymore.

Does anyone share the same experience like me?

Personally, I do not like this new feature. I would still prefer the old version.

Facebook just want to be thoughtful, but actually many of FB user using other web2.0 sites like imageshack, flickr and tinypic, etc. So sometimes I just wonder, why just focus on your own field, too many choices also make me bothering!
