If you share content regularly(10% about your site and rest interesting Stumble worthy content) this will increase your ratings.This will let lot of people stumble your website content too leading to increased traffic.

Stumble can get you some seriously good traffic but I've found that the users don't stay. They hit the page listed then when they're done they hit the stumble button and go to the next page. It's hard to get stumble traffic to convert to click through for ads so you better have a good CPM so you can make money off the views. From what I've seen with my site stats stumble traffic has an 80% bounce rate, which by the way, KILLS you Alexa rating.

I first became aware of StumbleUpon 5 years ago when my 32keys website traffic took off from 300/day to a single peek day of 30000.

I just got lucky with a good initial positive review by a stumbler at the right time, many more followed. To keep in good standing I have been careful not to spam or recklessly rate sites and almost all my pcklutz.stumbleupon reviews are a couple of paragraphs and of home pages mostly.

Getting a good Stumble review or two for your site from a fan or friend could be a good thing.

I do share the same experience as you.

What I can do is to be the first one to post the content. And provide more valuable information, which add value to my visitors.

This somehow reduce my bounce rate a bit.

Does anyone here do the same thing as me?

Put up your URL and promote your site. If it's good, then more people will visit it. The real challenge is getting them to visit repeatedly and bring in new visitors.

If you have time, try to communicate with stumblers, I start with it and with the contents I share now i got 10% traffic from it.

Bookmark your page in stumbleupon. Or you can try stumble exchange. I mean stumble other sites and in return ask them to stumble your page.
