That's hysterical. Why people don't realize anyone can find it if you post it online, especially when you've friended or followed or whatever that person, is beyond me.

I've been thinking about this a bit, and I think the boss should lose his job too. Whilst what he said was hilarious and no doubt true, firing someone like that in public is the height of unprofessionalism, irrelevant of what the girl said.

Admittedly, she was stupid to do that in such a public way, but then if the boss wanted to fire her he could have simply corrected her on his supposed "perviness" and then done the firing in a much more private setting.

That's a good point. The boss' post is quite entertaining, though it's far from professional. Of course if he's the top boss I'm not sure who would fire him. If the company name was in there it could affect the brand of the business.

I would LOVE to work for that guy. Would be nice to see people who need to be fired actually fired!

I don't think the firing is bad. It's doing it in public that's not professional. The original person should have been fired, but the boss should have done it behind closed doors.

I can honestly say that my boss is actually a FB friend, but I'm not exactly the kind of person to call out sick and then post about my wild weekend, either.

It may generally not be good practice, but it's not always bad, either. It just depends on your circumstances.

There is no rule that says you can't have two accounts on Facebook or Twitter.

It would be best to have one professional account and one personal
You can have your professional contacts separate from your personal page where you whine and bad mouth other people hehe.
