This has been around for quite some time but I thought I would share it with you all.

You are able to add shopping functionality to your facebook fanpages. This allows you to make the conversion on sale right on your facebook fanpage without having to direct them out of facebook.

There has been a lot of studies and article written about the different mindsets people have when using social networks as opposed to browsing other sites. Facebook users generally don't like to leave facebook. Trying to convert people right on the fanpage is not a bad idea as it makes the conversion process or funnel much more seamless and smooth.

Maybe somebody has been reading Steve Krugs book "Don't Make Me Think" or reading at www.sensible.com and suddenly developed common sense!

So all in all your post was just an elaborate way to agree. No one said it was a shock.

Sometimes the most obvious ideas are the best ones that people oversee.

Maybe you could contribute something useful like your thoughts on selling directly on facebook or any past experiences you have had with it.

Selling on facebook can be very powerful.

what if you have products on amazon, can you list/embed amazon stuff without redirecting to amazon?
