Anecdotal "evidence" and "guessology" maybe but certainly not empirical evidence.
However, where pages have existed online for a longer period AND have been actively promoted with resorting to dubious methods they MAY have built up more "authority", "credibility" and "gravitas" with respect to search engines. But then on the other hand if those same pages have been on line for same period and NOT been actively promoted or maybe even used for a "crash and burn" operation, they will be worthless.
Using arbitrary values such "age" and therefore considered "more valuable" is speculation at best.
It is the same with "dofollow" garbage, simply not having a "!nofollow" value for the rel attribute does NOT mean that the link WILL pass value, it simply indicates that it MIGHT pass value.
