I've used the tags in posts on another forum such as [ quote ] (without the spaces ) etc. I have tried a few here and butchered them including several quote tags in a single reply. They just displayed as the literal tag instead of formatting the text as a quote.

I have been trying to find a list here but couldn't. Is there one, or does someone know of a link that would help me for this forum?

At the risk of looking even more stupid, I see in the post where I was having an issue, I put a \ instead of / to close the tag. Pretty bad since I've been doing HTML for 9 years and in the Linux/Unix world for 8.
