I thought of creating a WT Launch Team, where members from WT apply and get selected as part of the team. The teams main function would be to launch new forums that our members have created by going there, registering and posting.

The owner of each site that is to be launched, helps others by launching their sites.

This would be coordinated by myself, who will collect all the sites that need to be launched and initiate a 2 week rota, were we will switch sites etc.

Dave and I would greatly appreciate some feedback on this idea.

Well you don't yet - Dave just wanted to hear people opinions on this and if they are all good, then he and tim will consider it and it will go on from there!

This is already part of The Admin Zone, and I think it's best to leave it there.

After much reading about the launch team and some careful consideration, I must agree with Chroder.

The main focus of Webmaster-Talk is towards webmastering while the main focus of the Admin Zone is to help with all aspects of forums.

I think this is a worthy endeavor, but it is one already being undertaken by another group. IMO, this forum probably should leave that endeavor there.

Thanks for the suggestion. We can still discuss this if members want, but I don't see that we'll be doing this.
