Since yesterday, I have had problems with the forums in FF. When I reply to a message and use space between lines, the output is one line. Firebug is catching a bunch of vbscript errors such as the following Error: vbmenu_register is not defined Source File: http://www.webmaster-talk.com/usercp.php Line: 648 In IE and used to in FF, the buttons at the top of the thread (such as Thread Tools) have a drop down. Now this is not available with my FF. Is anyone else having this issue?

I'm wondering if the issue is a plugin. I use Firefox and never have either problem. The thread tools drop own is JavaScript and I've had issues with an FF plugin conflicting with the JS on a site.

Is this something that only recently started?

When I get a chance I'll look at the file and see if I can fix things, but I'm betting it's a plugin causing the problems.

Thanks for the help Steven. The problem started yesterday, I think in the evening. I found two Firefox plugins: Aptana Debugger Service and Firebug that were catching JS errors. I disabled them and still the problem persists. I didn't change any settings or install any new plugins around the time this problem started for me.

Strange then. I'm using FF 2.something 2.0.0.7 and I don't have the same problem.

There are the extra lines and I have the drop down.

I had a problem with the Compete toolbar causing a problem with Analytics a few months ago and every so often there's a conflict between one site and a plugin so I was sure that would be it this time.

Guess not though. When I have a chance I'll look at the file and see what I can do. Hopefully over the weekend.

Post back here if you notice anything more or if it starts working again.

I vote poltergeist since I haven't had a chance to look at the file. Or did I?

I use firefox myself, and I haven't run into those errors today at all. I am using SEO Quake & Fasterfox plugins too. Sometimes things have a way of working out on their own.

I sometimes have errors here, but it's usually when I alter my user agent to a IE6 one.

Basically, the wysiwyg edit box don't work. But I never seen the errors you had.
