Email Notifications

I am still not receiving all of the email notifications to subscribed threads, does this happen once in awhile? Awhile back I started a thread Congratulations, a few hours later went back into the forums and there were several posts, but never received one email notification. I don't understand why?

Yes it's set for instant email notification....
Also Ron started a thread about being sued by CBS, I replied and received all the other email notifications of new posts, except one, which was Otter Bob's last comment....I do like to read what other people's ideas and comments are, sometimes I will make another comment but sometimes not...

Is this a sporadic thing? Getting notifications, and then not getting notifications?
Are you using more than one email? If you want, you can PM me your email and I'll make sure it's the one in your details (or you can go to your user CP and make sure it's the proper email).

I have checked, doubled everything in the control panel....yes it is sporadic, it might not happen again for a few days, or maybe tomorrow....nothing has changed with the email account, that will never alter, same address for the last 10 years.....
I just don't understand why.....
But I sure appreciate and thank the both of you for responding.....

This is no disrespect toward you Praveen whatsoever, but am glad to hear someone else has the problem, I am not goofy and not alone in this. With me it is sporadic, doesn't happen all the time...

It seems this is a sporadic problem with a couple of members. And we're trying to figure that out.
Are you still having problems with this?
Anyone else having problems?

This is odd, yesterday there was two messages posted in Site Traffic Talk, Google Forum, Page Rank. One message was by DaveTodd and the other by Minstrel, never received an email notification. A few hours went by thinking maybe the notifications would come through but they didn't. Nixies replied today and the email notification came through......  |

I think it may be the recent activity with the solar flairs causing interference thus interrupting notifications sent to people in certain geographic locations.

I'm sorry, but I'm not able to reveal my sources at this time. However, I have asked to have the solar flares minimized in the future. Either that or all the members with notification problems will have to move.
