from all i read i noticed there are a lot of people here that know their stuff really good.

why not make a place for them to start sharing that knowledge. i mean like a "manual" ... they just add stuff to let's say "php" ... tips, ideeas ... try to explain stuff as easy as they can ... so that when a person comes and asks for help about "<td> and <tr>" he can be redirected to that certain forum that explains that part of the HTML language ...

or perhaps a "knowledge base" besides the Forum? that contains a lot of info sorted nicely and searchable? would sure turn WT into something even nicer than it is now

Would this be like a tutorial section? That has been suggested and I think it is a good idea. I'll have to do some checking to see what all that involves with vB and what kind of stipulations would be on the submissions.

More thoughts? Or, anyone else have thoughts on this? Please make your suggestions.

actually a tutorial section is the easiest way to do what i had in mind

something like microsofts knowledge base would be nicer ... but it would be hard to make that and still be realted to the forum since VB is limited ...

Tutorial sections are a very good idea. I'd have a few to submit about webhosting and domain name purchasing, perhaps some intro HTML ones as well.

I think a tutorial section would be fabulous! I have seen it on other forums and don't think it would be too difficult to incorporate here.
