Helloo. Well, just a small corner would do, im not asking for anything big, nor am i preaching about how RoR will one day meet PHP in the streets of Tokyo and wrestle him though a skyscraper pummeling him to the ground with robot fists. Even a sub forum or su'tin.

I even had a dream the other night about how awesome it would be, i swear it was so vivid i downloaded it to my pc the next day.

Ok, it's almost an emergency. Development is good, a ruby forum would attract more than it would drive away? So what is there to loose? Think of the children!

It's not that it's a bad idea or anything, (I wouldn't know as I'm not familiar with that particular web language,) but it just takes the WT Staff a very, verrry looooooooooong time to look over these things and actually implement the changes for some reason. (This is more particular to adding new things as opposed to just altering existing forum features.)

Just take a look at all the threads I created in the suggestion forum. For example, in this thread below, I've offered a bunch of new forums that I thought would be helpful for the forum structure and improvement overall:
http://www.webmaster-talk.com/sugges...my-review.html

I believe the reason it takes so long is because the staff and the moderating discusses things more in-depth in the confidential forum, and getting advanced feedback. (Although don't take my word on it, as I've never been back there to know what's going on behind the scenes).

I agree, it takes a while to implement new changes on such a large system such as webmaster-talk. However, I would have appreciated even a "dumb idea/good idea" from someone who can throw the switches.

Well, I am a patient guy, but the interweb is unfortunately not and people are looking for help. If they don't find it here they will just go looking somewhere else. I like it here and that's why I put forward the idea. Let me rephrase that. I like it here and I am lazy and hate making new accounts in unknown forums and would rather have the information taken _to_ me.
