When we're looking for Mods, you'll generally see a small notice in my sig that says PM me if you're interested. At the time we're not looking.
There's not an application that one finds and fills out. We generally don't consider a member until they have been here for awhile and their good reputation is known to the staff and other members. We do ask potential Mods what their qualifications are and we have other info that they read when we're looking.
I really like the marketplace. One question though... How do you become a mod?
