You can't cancel it, per se. If you don't want to use it, then you just don't use it. We generally don't delete accounts with posts since that could affect threads in a negative way.
If you find that you have no more questions nor answers, then you can just not use the account. Of course, I always encourage people to take a break if they need it and then come back as needed.
If I was in the red, I'd want to have my account deleted too.
Then I could start fresh with a new account without getting
in trouble for having a duplicate account.
BTW - banning isn't the same as deleting. You'll still be in the
database.
