I have a suggestion for a new forum.

It seems the site review forum is very, very big, and every day there are like 9 new threads. Some want site reviews, others want coding help, others want logo reviews, and others just want hits.
I was thinking of making the site review forum, only for completed websites that seek review.
And make another forum for incomplete sites or for templates.

what do you think?

-Josh

I think that would be a good idea. That way those who want some advice 'along the way' could still get it.

those sites that are completed can already submit for the webmaster-talk web award. they can be reviewed by the panel and then accredited the award if found eligable. thus there is already a sort of system for completed and incomplete sites.

does anyone ever have a completed site? all sites SHOULD be permanently changing, content added, adjusted, remade, madeover time and again, to keep it fresh and SE friendly.

maybe have a newbie forum or something, somewhere where people can help the very newest members with their initial teething troubles. very basic help for things like HTML and others that would help out those just struggling to get a foothold in this business.

m just saying we need another site review forum for other things because the site review forum is getting filled up with many new threads daily and some threads are not even related to site review, so thats kinda frustrating for the admins/mods that they have to be moving the threads around, so I guess if WT opens another site review forum for questions, or advice on the site.

It is true that most sites are continually developing and change from time to time. The Site Review forum has helped lots of sites do just that, too.

I agree that we need 2 types of site review forums.

One that would help people that are just starting websites, working on specific needs (like logos), and could be for any level of webmaster.
One that would be sites that are basically applying for the WT award (basically to be awarded by the admin team, but all member ratings would be accepted).
More suggestions on these forums?

Dave
