I think it's about time we have one. (Especially if we're going to have more threads created about articles.) While I don't think there's anything wrong with threads like these:
http://www.webmaster-talk.com/seo-ta...at-is-seo.html
http://www.webmaster-talk.com/intern...ild-brand.html

I think it would be better to have all those discussions in one place. (Maybe under Community Talk?)

You could even have vB grab the Article section's RSS feed and have threads automatically created for them if it's something you wanted to incorporate is a discussion for every one.

Interesting thought. I kinda' like that, but we use it elsewhere and it doesn't seem to generate as much discussion as it does threads that are seldom visited.

It might be worth a try.

More discussion?

Dave

That's because the threads are "buried" in those forums, IMO. If you had a dedicated forum for articles, they'd probably generate more discussion .

That might be good for the SEO and Internet Marketing forums. Sometimes more helpful than others - seems like every now and then articles are the Second Coming?

I think James has a point. I don't think I've ever seen a discussion of where to go around submitting articles to, although I've seen link dumps pointing to article directories. I could see some of the smarter folk in here creating such a discussion.

How does that idea fit in with the Writing Forum?

Well, I was just thinking about all the articles and blog posts WT has. Unless you're considering a place for useful articles from other sites too? (Even perhaps self-promo threads, that are useful, obviously.)

Are you saying it should be a subforum of C&W? Or just moving some threads from there into this potential Article forum?
