I accept that ads are a necessary evil on a free site, but c'mon the banner on the right hand side is, in my opinion, over the line. It was well done before, but now i would be more cautious as a newcomer as to the quality of the site with such a placement.

maybe just me.

Man, that annoying sidebar ad is still here? Maybe I should look into that Firefox adblocker program.

How much longer must we wait to have that ad removed? I certainly don't come around as often as before because of it; it's just very irritating.

I can certainly understand the need to put ads in, but I would think that it would be a better use of space to put that ad as a horizontal at the top of the page. As a matter of fact, there's space enough to put two ad spaces in there.

I must admit that it's more than a bit disconcerting to have ads for Ukrainian, Russian and Chinese brides, though. If the ads are targeted, how did we qualify for them?

What does that tell you?

Since James pointed out the Ad Block FF extension, I use it. Don't see them now.

Same here. Problem is there is alot of different ads so start clicking.

While it may be true that the plugin "hides the ads", it still leaves a very annoying, blank, white space on the right side. I'd HIGHLY prefer to have the full-forum width back.
