This is more of a feature that I would like on all forums but figured here would be a great place to try something like this. Facebook has a great feature and I think myspace does where you can select one of your photos and crop a section to use as your icon. I think it uses AJAX but im not positive. Anyhow, it would be so awesome if there was something like that on forums to easily make avatars. You could temporarily upload a full photo then crop out the section the right size to use as your avatar. I have such a hard time creating avatars for all the forums I am on, they all seem to have different requirements. This would make it so easy.
