And I thought the talking chick was annoying. This Safecount.net survey that floats over the screen has gotta go. That ranks pretty high in my top 10 reasons to leave a site.

Lee stated in another S & F thread to PM him whenever you see a very annoying ad, and he'll do what he can to remove it.

The talking chick only appears if you're browsing forum pages when you're not logged in, and she's been silenced. I'd already looked at the thread you're linking to; I was just using the annoying talking chick as a point of reference.

But whenever this ad shows up in the Google ads:

...then a popover ad saying "please take our survey" hovers from off screen bottom left to center screen bottom and screws with your scroll until you close it. Those things are infuriating.

Ah yes, the "SitePal" adverts!

I have my browser set to log in automagically so I never see them. Can't recall seeing the Safecount one either.
