The forum could definitely use some more moderators around, but that is my opinion and views.

Yeah. At the moment, there is only one moderator online while the forums are filled with spam,

Maybe Giselle or Knight can be a good addition to the team. They've been here for a long time & they should know the forums front & back by now,

But, that's just my opinion. But, I'm sure when Chris is online, the spam would be gone quickly,

If Chris wasn't so selfish with his time, ie sleeping and stuff like that, there would be a lot less spam on here, probably best if we got his phone number so we can phone him every time there is a spammer, I'm sure he wont mind

You think we're going to give Mod privileges to just ANYONE?? This process takes some time, and we ARE working on it and have some nominees. We all vote and those that pass muster get asked if they'd like to be mods.

We (the moderators) live in different timezones, and are on line at different times. We are not MANDATED to be here for X number of hours per day. No one can be here 24 hours a day, no one is assigned time to be here. We're here because we want to be. Spammers sneak in at odd times, like the wee hours of the morning when most of us in the US are ASLEEP. Saturday night/Sunday morning seems to be a prime time for spammers. I check in on Sunday mornings to "clean house".

We do the best we can in eliminating spam and I think we do a pretty good job with the folks we have. Spam doesn't stay here long compared to other forums I've seen.

We will have more moderators, you're just going to have to wait for the process to work. And just keep reporting the spam please, we'll get rid of it as soon as we can!

I wasn't trying to sound ignorant or anything. I'm not that stupid, I know you aren't going to give moderator status to just any old person. I just wanted to hear a reply from a staff member saying it was being worked on and such, that's what I was waiting for, expecting and received just now by you.

You can close/remove this topic now.
