Hello, here is one of my suggestions for W-T.

I suggest that the administrators of this forum disallow members from viewing deleted notices. ( only allow mods & admins to view them )

Screen Shot of Example : http://i54.tinypic.com/27y1mr7.png

This makes the forum messy with unnecessary notices,

Hmm, so I would found no trace of my "been deleted" posts. That's cool but bit of growing suspicious thoughts for the newbies and us eventually.

What I mean is, let us know what faults we made or anybody's. So in the future we can avoid walk the same death trap ( means unhidden shame ). That will helps for newbies too, to not grows such revenge or outrages whenever they realize their post are all gone or somehow "deleted" by authorities here.

well, just a wolf thoughts..

Hello Marc and Dosi,

I agree Marc it does look messy, but there are reasons for keeping them exposed, at least three reasons for me. Sometimes they get bundled up and are completely deleted.

You made a good point Dosi, deleted posts or threads without everybody or the member knowing why. In some cases discretion is best also so as not to embarrass the member for making an error in judgment.

@Dosi, that's what I was thinking as well. But, when a moderator deletes a post or thread, don't they get an infraction or warning?

If I'm correct, then it might be better to include a quote of the member's deleted message in the field when a moderator sends an infraction or a warning to a member. ( infraction/warning vB system )

But, that's just my opinion and I don't know infractions/warnings are given when member threads/posts have been deleted...

Nope.

That does happen when a warning/infraction is given.
However as many of the deletions also result in a banning the PM is a little pointless.

The "shill" posts, sig link spam, link exchange crap, blatant advertising, useless padding posts and other such junk gets left in theory to show the poster what is not welcome and why it is not.

Thanks for posting. Now I know that once a post/thread has been deleted, it doesn't mean that they get an infraction/warning.

So, it'll be more work for the moderators to send out private messages every time a post/thread has been deleted...

Therefore, this suggestion wouldn't be a good idea for this forum,

Don't fret! I've been thinking one or two about this, and thought this can't be helped. Since some people here aren't really a good poster at all.

No offense for you!! Just me got offended by myself. ..-sigh-

Anyway, forum or BBS(?) is like the mall, anybody could come in and come out they want, regardless they're been good or silly *** spamzzord. They lurk, they did. It's been like that yet we can't help it.

And what's the best for us, members, is be good, post good, sleep good(no?) so such notifications won't garbage our screen.

Regards,

Yeah...I got my second post here deleted.(sig link promo)

I was gonna ask chris to take it down so people wouldn,t think I was a jerk.

But leaving it up doesn't just warn spammers, it gives newbies something to look at so they can ask themselves..."could I be accidentally doing that"?
