P.S. Harvey - either you are following me today or we are in the same mind set - it seems we have posted consecutively in quite a few threads this morning

Lol. Don't worry, I'm not a stalker!
I've had a mountain of work today, so naturally I've been avoiding it by clicking the "new posts" button every few minutes!

actually ... you could specify a link to the thread in the wt rules (in the paragraph about it of course), just to make sure people should read it

At the bottom of the home page is a link to see the Forum Leaders. That will let you know who's who in the Forum Leaders realm.
Also, there are some forums that the replies do NOT count for the post count. One of those is the Jokes forum.
If it's super important to talk to someone about a site that is for sell, there are other options that one could look into, like their IM contacts.

jstme, it seem's you have one less post than your total number of posts. I'd imagine this might be because a moderator decided one of your posts was not of sufficient quality (i.e. was intented soley to increase your post count and gain PM privelages) although I may be wrong.
Krynt, come to think of it, the hourly (now 15min...) (virtual) cron job for PMs isn't such a bad thing after all. Since most normal (i.e. non spammer) people can wait that long without sending a PM, it's not too bad. It's also quite a good thing since it gives moderators some time to notice low quality/spam/1 digit posts.
Just a thought.

firs, ... 15 minutes is more than decent .. WT is not a place where you have to, eg. bid on something in the next 15 minutes tops.
second, ... it gives moderators little time to notice spam and low quality posts... WT is quite a big place you now?

Ok, so I am new to a forum that I do not know anyone. Nor do I know much on the subjet as I am just getting into this stuff. I can not reply to most posts cause I dont know enough about this subject yet, so I reply to the polls, the jokes and such that my simple mind can handle, however these posts do not count toward my post count. So even when I try to follow the rules so I can PM and such I feel as though I still get screwed in the deal. Just my 2 cents.

sorry about all that jstme, jus that it was exactly that what ticked off a lot of people.
you are new and you start doing 1 word/digit posts. usually people ask when they don't know something, ot at least follow their good sense and don't hurt others whith their actions when joining a new comunity.
also ... introducing yourself to the forum and saying hello to another 4 people that did so would bring you the necessary 5 posts. i don't think you need any knowledge to say hello do you?

True I could have done that, in hindsight probobly should have. You guys have my appologies. I really dont like all of this being on the board either but I sent 3 different admins e-mails (because I cant even pm them) and got no response, so I also appologise for this not being done in private to all of the readers who are ticked at me now.

I am sure everybody is more than understanding and woun't hold anything against you in the future.
All we ask of you is that you read the rules, think of the other users when doing something and enjoy your time here on WT.

BTW, at least one Admin (me) tried to reply to your email, but you have selected NOT to receive emails from this forum. I tried to answer your email, but it wouldn't work via this forum due to your selection.
Also, if you have something to discuss in private and you want only yourself and the Forum Leaders to see it, make a thread in the Confidential forum. That is its purpose.
I really don't think anyone is ticked at you.
