This might have been discussed in the past, but I think it would be a good idea. Sorry if this is a repeat.

An open section where people can hire help, and people can look for work. Such as..

A website needs someone to help with a PHP script.
Someone offering to design websites or graphics.

I was also going to suggest that Sites For Sales might be better under WT Marketplace instead of URL Talk.

Good suggestions. I am planning on opening up a "Buy and Sell Services" forum under the marketplace but since I will be away most of the weekend, it will probably be next week.

As suggested, I will move the Sites for Sale forum there as well. But then wouldnt I also need to move the Buy and Sell Domain Names forum, or maybe not?

Yeah, I think the Buy and Sell Domain Names should be moved.

Looking forward to the new forum.

I totally agree. Would be more relevant there.

I've seen this kind of section, where people can post ads looking for work, in other forums of this type. The trouble always seems to be that they very quickly fill up with the kind of ads saying "hosting for only $1 per year", or "join our super-duper affiliates program and earns squillions of dollars". Nothing serious ever seems to get posted. The moderators would have to be on their toes to keep it relevent.

I think the Buy and Sell section should be moderated. ONL geniune buyers and sellers. NO contact information via the forum. Only via PM. and if anyone spams the members with PM's, we can delete the member concerned without warning !!!

I don't think the Buy and Sell section has to be moderated. The moderators/admins here are very good at catching people who are breaking the rules, and they do it fast.

Moderating the posts might be considered. It could slow down would-be spammers. Then again, it might slow down the posts being made.

We do have a good group of moderators.
