I'm probably the only one who thinks this, but could you change the color of the no new posts icons? When I come to a forum I usually associate color with posts - new posts, the icon is colored, no new posts, the icon is faded.
Whenever I come here I spend about double the time looking at the icons instead of simply "scanning the page" like I do with other forums.
So if its not too much to ask could you please fade the no new post icon?
