Hi

Its very difficult to get enough people into one chat room especially from just one forum, I have approached a few forums webmaster and computer forum owners to see if they would like to use a room via my chat room, that way people would be able to club together but with very little luck.

Sorry guys, this isn't going to happen. We've tried adding a chat 3 times in all of WMT's history and each time it has not worked. Theres either no one there, or people only join for a couple minutes to try and get live help. We can't commit to a chatroom and have someone there to operate it if it will only yield 3 users at a time. For now, the forums are enough.

True, I love the fourms. A chat might be nice in the future, But we need to advance in other ways first. Like getting that longest thread in the world to actually be the longest thread

Sometimes though I think although helpful at times, chat rooms on forums etc take away from the content, people forget about the forums and just use the chats??

There are a lot of chat softwares which can integrate with forums, so users don't need to register again, they can enter the chat room directly. I know one, 123flashchat, it can integrate with phpbb, phpnuke, joomla, drupal, postnuke, and so on. How can they do this, hehe, a lot of time spent, i think
