My other new blog is more along the lines of making money online while Webmaster-Talk would have a much broader subject matter.
Now that I have the other blog, I probably would not be writing to the WT blog very often. This is why I started recruiting writers in the first place although it was before I even knew I was going to start another blog.
Keeping the WT blog would still be very beneficial to myself and the writers. Putting a blog on the WT domain has a lot of advantages. The forums already have nice traffic and generally, the posts rank well in the search engines.
Like I mentioned, I should not have started the WT blog until I had everything completely ready to go, including ads setup for the writers.
I'm going to have to come up with a new game plan and probably find some new writers. I also will have to come up with a workable solution to offer the writers.
For example, maybe offering a link from all pages of the sidebar provided the author is active and makes at least 5 new posts each month. In addition, writers could include a line at the end of each post saying something like "Post by King Justice of http://Your123Site.com"
That way if the author becomes inactive, I would eventually drop the sidebar link but the link to their website within each of their posts would permanently stay.
Does that seem like a fair solution?
