I agree with the Tech Crunch article that lightning won't strike twice, especially now that most people are aware of how useless pixel advertising is to the advertisers.
But you never know. Giving away a million dollars to whoever clicks on the magic ad will certainly get people to click on the ads. Of course they'll be clicking just to try to win and not to see the site on the other side of the ad which goes back to how useless pixel advertising is for the advertiser.
