ASP, Access 2300 & Pictures

I have a access table with links to pictures. I can and know how to display the link so that a picture shows up on the HTML page. What I want to do is if there is lets say 30 results display the pictures in 2 rows of 5 each.

eg
Pic1 2 3 4 5
6 7 8 9 10

Next >

I have tried but everytime I fail.

Create a table each with five columns. Use a counter as you write out your TD's, each containing an image. Use an if statement to check your counter and after you have written five TD's, close the TR, open a new TR and commence writing the next row's TD's.
